Maverick Oh's Personal Homepage

I am an Assistant Professor of Physics and Astronomy at Montgomery College.

I earned my PhD in 2026 at University of California, Merced. My PhD research focuses on gravitationally lensed quasar systems and their applications to understanding the properties of dark matter. I worked with Prof. Anna Nierenberg on modeling and measuring non-elliptical perturbations in galaxy distributions and studying their effects on gravitational-lensing observations.

I am currently enrolled in the Graduate Certificate in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning program at The University of Texas at Austin as a recipient of the CosmicAI Scholarship.

My other projects have explored graphical notation for vector calculus, physics-informed machine learning, and Korean science-inspired poetry.
